Truckee Residence
Located on 5 acres in Truckee, this addition transformed an eyesore into a gem. The existing residence had no functional entry and suffered from a lack of curb appeal. The addition added a functional airlock entry, an expanded living room, a full bath, much needed natural light, and an updated aesthetic. The remodel created a vastly more functional floor plan featuring a master suite with his and hers walk-in closets, a walk-in kitchen pantry, and family room. Even though the window area was more than doubled, energy bills were reduced through passive solar techniques, advanced framing methods, innovative insulation use, and high quality windows.
